Shanise Craft is a single mother of four beautiful children, ages 11, 15, 18 and 21. She is a born-again Christian, Who loves God, loves her family and loves people. She has won numerous awards for her outstanding community work.

In March 2009, in honor of Women’s History Month, Craft received the coveted (Business & Philanthropy) Award in Upper Marlboro, MD. The event honored several notable women in the community for public and civic service works. Part of the proceeds from this event went to My Sisters Keepers a shelter housing Single Mothers with HIV. In March MD became one of the top 3 states for HIV. She is also one of the most sought after motivational speakers in the DC/MD/VA area with a focus on “Single Mom’s”.

On September 27, 2009 Craft received a National Award for (Business & Philanthropy) from the National Congress of Black Women. Past recipients of this award have been First Lady Michelle Obama, Cicely Tyson, Suzanne De Passe, Coretta Scott King, Maya Angelou and several notable women.

Craft is a lifetime member of the National Congress of Black Women.

The Entrepreneur

Shanise Craft is a minority woman in a man’s world. The first African American Female VP/GM of a luxury car dealership in the state of Maryland. Craft is a native of New York City, and is considered by many as a Car Buying/Financial Expert “Guru”. She has personally assisted and sold more than 10,000 cars!!!

Craft started in the industry more than 15 years ago and has held many positions in the car industry from Finance Manager, Director of Finance to General Sales Manager all leading up to the position of General Manager of a Luxury Car Dealership in MD.

The Advocate

Craft is also a strong community activist and philanthropist. She has raised over $100,000 for various non-profit charities throughout the DC/MD/VA area from charitable golf tournaments, to raising over $10,000 annually for her Partnership with a Community Development Center in Maryland and has personally purchased equipment and jerseys for a local high school track and little league football team. Craft has partnered with Waggy Mentoring Foundation. In April 2009 Craft partnered with Radio One and St. Jude’s, she donated her time to do on air interviews and challenges as well as answered telephones for incoming donations. The Maryland offices Radiothon helped raise $125,000 . All proceeds went towards research into finding cures for children afflicted with cancer, sickle cell or other catastrophic diseases.

The Leader

Craft launched “ASK SHANISE” a national website aimed at getting residents in upgrading and repairing their credit through basic financial principles as well as educating residents when it comes to car buying. Residents can hear Craft weekdays on WPRS-FM (Praise 104.1) as the official sponsor of “That’s My Story” segment with Afternoon Host Matt Anderson. Craft has also made appearances on The Syndicated Russ Parr Morning Show and WTTG-TV (Fox-5) Morning News in DC.

The Empowerer

This marks the heart and soul of Shanise Craft, which is to empower people with the knowledge as well as understanding of the overall car buying process. “My passion is helping people obtain loans against all odds, while empowering them to change their financial status and outlook on their lives. I also have a deeper passion for women, especially single minority women and I want them to have the knowledge and the confidence, in the car buying process.” Craft has been the keynote speaker for several organizations, she spoke at Empowerment Temple Church Dr. Pastor Jamal Bryant her topic “Know the Game” and at the Greenbelt Marriott for Building Hope in connection with Children’s Hospital, she spoke encouraging words to Single Mothers. Women living in shelters because of domestic violence.
